Tails Scripts
Instead of incorporating all possible actions you can perform on microformats into one monolithic extension, Tails allows users to customize the functionality of the extension using Tails Scripts. A Tails Scripts is a piece of JavaScript that allows you to perform certain actions on the microformats found on a web page.
To install a Tails Script, you can right click on a link with the .tails.js extension and select Install Tails Script…, or by clicking on the .tails.js link and then clicking the Install button on the information bar.
If you’re interested in developing your own Tails Script, here’s a quick write up to get you started.

I’m using firefox 2.0 and tails 0.3 and when I browse to any of the scripts listed above, I don’t get an option to install it. Is this a bug in the extension?
Thanks!

Yes this is a bug with Tails and FF 2. To install a script in the meantime, you should be able to right click on links and click on ‘Install Tails Script’. I should have a fix ready soon.

I would like to export hCalendars into a ics-Files. Does somebody know a script?

anne,
No, it’s probably a problem on all platforms, due to a limitation of the Firefox feature that the Tails script is using to generate that link. The correct suffix will be used after the next release Tails, along with an updated script.
